Emotive's Mobility as a Service

Emotive provides a complete cloud-based platform for mobile-enabling business applications. The "Systems of Record" remain the same — your ERP system, your CRM system, etc. — while Emotive provides everything you need to mobilize the most useful and critical business tasks, or "tasklets", so that your business users can productively benefit from their mobile devices and associated cell phone costs. The platform runs "as a service" and provides a highly scalable and secure environment for rapidly building, deploying, and managing a wide range of lightweight, nimble mobile business applications for smartphones and tablets.

Providing mobility "as a service" greatly simplifies the task of getting mobile applications up and running. The mobile platform integrates with your Systems of Record while allowing you to rapidly produce mobile applications – in many cases, new mobile tasklets can be produced in a day. The resulting mobile applications provide:

• Easy to use, "consumerized" interfaces
• A library of role-appropriate mobile tasklets from which the user can make the final decision as to which functionality is installed on their mobile device
• Rapid access to critical business tasks such as checking inventory or changing a forecast in only a couple taps
• Collaboration with others to accomplish things such as issue resolution, discount approval, and updated order status
• And, of course, cross platform capabilities spanning Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry, and Windows

The system consists of two primary components – Emotive Cloud and Emotive Mobile.
