Mike Cartibiano

President of Gaming

Cartabiano joined eMotive in September 2008 as the President of Gaming in charge of developing and executing eMotive's game strategy. Former founder and Chief Creative Officer of the Sennari Entertainment, he brings to eMotive over 25 years experience in developing consumer entertainment products and advanced gaming, game community and mCRM platforms for major wireless companies.

Cartabiano has a long history of pioneering mobile game development. At the head of Sennari, he was the first to market publisher of network-based pay-to-play games on major wireless networks in the US and Europe.

Cartabiano was the architect and lead developer of the ground breaking and record breaking, bowling game that established JAMDAT (now EA) as a world leading mobile game publisher. He established Sennari as a "turn key" mobile solution by creating and publishing a series of unique games on major wireless networks like Verizon Wireless, Vodafone and T-Mobile and on a cross-network basis in Europe for Motorola. Prior to his mobile venture, he developed games for Disney, Take2, Superscape and videogames for Electronic Arts, THQ, Atari, Warner Bros., Mattel, Hasbro, Fisher Price, and others, on major consoles and handhelds.

Cartabiano is a member of the IGDA and is a regular speaker on mobile games panels throughout the US. He is also active as a student career advisor at several Los Angeles high schools.
