Job Description
Emotive Communications Inc seeks experienced Ruby on Rails developer for full-time and contract employment. Based in the SFV area of Southern California, Emotive develops interactive VoIP applications with users and clients in North America, Europe and Asia. Good candidate should be local to the area with 1-2 years solid RoR web development experience including content management systems, object oriented design principles, restful resources and familiar with 2 week scrum style development cycles. Requisite skillset: * Ruby * xHTML+css * Capistrano * Mysql * Active record * Rmagick Ajax, SVN and Linux are always helpful. This is a full-time position working out of our office in Encino, California (no telecommuting). We're looking for talented developers to join our team and be part of a growing, motivated engineering team.
